The company is living an important growth and therefore, wants to hire a resource whose main responsibility will be to ensure its business development activities and create new sales opportunities within the food industry. Your main responsibilities for this role will be to:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the province of Quebec, Ontario and part of the United States;
  • Provide technical support while responding to customer requests and needs;
  • Conceptualize technical solutions with clients;
  • Work closely with current customers to determine current and future business opportunities;
  • Present to customers the full range of products and services of the company;
  • Participate and represent the company in major events such as trade shows, congresses in the food sector or any activity related to the consumer products industry;
  • Keep the management team informed on ongoing sales activities;
  • Participate in all training and innovation activities to stay at the top of the industry;
  • Participate in responding to calls for RFP’s, RFI’s, RFQ’s and requests for proposals for standard offers in the food industry.


  • University degree in mechanical engineering or any relevant work experience in our client’s business sectors: food industry, confectionery, bakery, etc.
  • A minimum of 8 years + of experience in automation, robotics, palletizing, industrial packaging, and automated conveying solutions.
  • Proficiency in the following software’s: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings, an important asset.
  • Autonomous, motivated, focused on teamwork and results oriented
  • Recognized skills in corporate presentation, organization, and time management
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding company goals as well as strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present technical concepts.

In your role, you will be required to travel regularly to the United States and Ontario.
