CLIENT DESCRIPTION
Our client is a systems solution provider and machinery integrator serving Canada, the US and abroad. They are industry leader in automation, palletizing, conveying as well as fresh produce and bulk food material handling. They build the highest quality machinery, conveyor systems and robotics with a niche focus being the food industry.

The company wants to ensure its visibility on various digital platforms and marketing channels to pursue new business opportunities. Therefore, the company wants to hire its Social Media Specialist to generate new sources of business revenues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement innovative social media campaigns to support growth objectives
  • Optimize & manage the company’s social media content and presence to increase the visibility of the company’s social content, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages a high level of customer interaction
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from social network presence and bolster SEO effort
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Measure performance of all channels social media campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partner

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience with social media
  • Knowledge of SEO and web design is highly preferable
  • Impeccable writing, editing, consulting, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong competencies with Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Great understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (strong asset)
  • Creative, disruptive and “OUTSIDE OF THE BOX THINKER”
  • Ability to work in a constant changing and dynamic environment
