SENIOR ELECTRICAL TESTING LEAD

To strengthen its presence in the Canadian market, the company is looking to hire a Senior Electrical Testing Manager. Reporting to the Director of Electrical Services, the selected candidate will play a strategic role within the organization, overseeing the coordination, supervision, and optimization of complex field electrical operations.
As a true technical mentor, this individual will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement in work methods, training up-and-coming talent, and ensuring high client satisfaction. Their expertise and leadership will directly contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects while upholding the highest standards of quality and performance.
RESPONSABILITIES
Technical Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced electrical testing and accurately interpret results;
- Lead commissioning campaigns, analyze data, and assess equipment performance;
- Prepare detailed technical reports for clients;
- Plan and oversee on-site interventions;
- Provide technical guidance to Level N1 and N2 Electrical Testing Leads, while offering real-time support as needed;
- Ensure work complies with industry standards and regulations;
- Develop and update internal procedures (testing, repairs, commissioning);
- Actively contribute to the training and development of technical teams.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, including needs assessments, regular follow-ups, and clear responses to their questions;
- Document issues encountered and suggest improvement opportunities;
- Prepare service proposals, including budget estimates and timelines;
- Lead kickoff meetings for various hydroelectric projects;
- Coordinate resource mobilization with clients as needed;
- Present technical reports and project summaries;
- Review and ensure the quality of final deliverables;
- Provide technical training to both clients and internal staff;
- Monitor team performance and support their professional development.
ASSETS
- Strong expertise in performing complex electrical tests and using advanced diagnostic equipment;
- Skilled in producing high-quality technical documentation in both English and French;
- Proven ability to develop detailed service quotes with accurate budgeting and scheduling.
