CLIENT DESCRIPTION

Our client is a world-renowned communications agency and is the only international network of private agencies for the food industry. The company designs and implements unique campaigns covering all communication and marketing expertise.

As a leader in communications for inter-professional organizations in Europe and internationally, the company also develops innovative strategies for companies and brands in the agri-food industry in all Canadian provinces.

With offices in Montreal and Toronto, the company has a team of experts who specialize in strategic planning, public relations and content creation, influencer marketing, media events, point-of-sale promotion and e-commerce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to serve its clients well, the company is looking to hire a Senior Account Manager to support its client portfolio while assisting them in their 360° marketing campaign deployment strategies. In this role, you will manage the following 3 components:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of business by spontaneous approach and responses to calls for tenders
  • Manage its business volume and ensure an optimal net profitability level
  • Boost, optimize and perpetuate your customer portfolio
  • Monitor performance indicators
  • Monitor and implement market analysis to track trends and establish communication strategies for clients
  • Design and write recommendations based on internal and external expertise
  • Sell marketing/communication plans to clients and prospects
  • Participate in the development and negotiation of customer contracts

PRODUCTION

  • Implement marketing/communication plans agreed with clients
  • Coordinate external business partners and ensure the profitability of your projects
  • Systematically use management and reporting tools

BUDGETS

  • Build and/or supervise client budgets by optimizing costs, margins and profitability
  • Keep track of budgets and follow up with reports
  • Monitor the gross and net margins of its campaigns on a continuous basis and propose any corrective measures

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in Marketing and/or Business with a Marketing component
  • Expert in strategy and ability to assist clients in their strategic thinking
  • Mastery of communication techniques on the various 360° channels
  • Project coordination skills
  • Negotiation skills (suppliers & clients)
  • Skills for business development
  • Ability to adjust to the fast-paced industry
