CLIENT DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leader in the packaging and printing industry. They are the premier French-language educational publishing group in North America. The company places great importance on taking care of their teams and fostering a supportive environment among their employees.

One of their sister companies, specializes in the printing of CD sleeves, vinyl sleeves, boxed sets, comic books and commercial packaging for high-profile products. It provides their full range of services to leading film and music studios, as well as leading multinationals.

Having recently invested in new equipment to meet demand while offering competitive products and “TAILORED MADE” solutions to its customer base, our client is currently looking for a Sales and Business Development Representative whose main mission will be to develop new commercial business opportunities and manage existing accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will also have the following duties:

  • Present, promote and advise on existing and future account development opportunities for folding carton products and printing solutions;
  • Develop the packaging business for the commercial BTOB sector;
  • Sell complex packaging solutions and offer “CUSTOM” solutions to business customers, while acting in an advisory role;
  • Inform and train customers on products and solutions;
  • BRAINSTORM” with multidisciplinary teams such as marketing, design, production, etc;
  • Manage contract creation and negotiation;
  • Carry out cost/benefit analyses to meet customer needs;
  • Provide after-sales service to maintain business relationships with existing and future customers;
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and results;
  • Collaborate with sales coordination team, operations and marketing department.

REQUIREMENTS

  • College or university degree;
  • Relevant experience in selling packaging product solutions;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience in consulting sales in the packaging sector, more specifically in the cardboard box industry;
  • Experience in selling printing solutions (an asset);
  • Excellent sales, communication and negotiation skills;
  • Good sales closing skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in SalesForce (would be an asset);
  • Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal.
