PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Today, as part of its commitment to continuously improving customer service and strengthening operations, the company is implementing strategic initiatives to optimize processes and enhance team efficiency. In this context, our client is looking to hire a Production Supervisor for its industrial painting division.
This key role, reporting directly to the company’s senior manager, will focus on structuring and improving production while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. This opportunity is part of a broader strategy to support the division’s growth and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Structure and oversee the production team (2 foremen);
- Plan short-, medium-, and long-term production based on projects and orders;
- Ensure the completion and timely submission of estimates within 24 to 48 hours;
- Supervise and evaluate the team, ensuring regular follow-ups on ongoing projects;
- Make operational decisions as needed to address challenges;
- Ensure the proper functioning of factory tools and machinery;
- Enforce health and safety standards (SST) and implement necessary corrective measures;
- Implement and optimize the existing ERP system;
- Coordinate the development of the manual procedure book;
- Supervise quality control and ensure deliverables meet requirements;
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas;
- Manage the annual budget and track financial objectives;
- Optimize the use of consumables and monitor working hours;
- Serve as a key point of reference for the team and ensure effective communication;
- Keep management informed about operations and suggest improvements;
- Assist in handling calls and emails, if necessary;
- Participation in recruiting and developing team skills;
- Provide temporary coverage for team members in case of absence.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally hold a DEP in Industrial Painting or an AEC in Surface Treatment and Industrial Painting;
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in production management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment related to industrial painting;
- Strong understanding of industrial painting processes and quality requirements;
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards (SST) and best practices in workplace safety;
- Experience in managing and optimizing an ERP system;
- Expertise in budget management, cost control, and performance tracking;
- Ability to prepare accurate estimates and ensure effective follow-ups;
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities;
- Proven skills in team management and talent development;
- Ability to make quick decisions and manage priorities effectively;
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with management and teams;

ASSETS
- Any specialized training in painting techniques for various materials (metals, alloys, plastics, etc.)
- Training in industrial management, manufacturing production, or a related field
- Strong understanding of industrial painting standards, such as NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) or SSPC (Society for Protective Coatings)
