We are currently looking for exceptional talent to fill the strategic position of Business Development Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the company’s President, the Business Development Manager’s main mission will be to identify, prospect and qualify potential customers, while cultivating and maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers. The ultimate objective of this new role is to make a significant contribution to the company’s growth. Your other duties will include :

  • Actively prospect for new potential customers in a given territory
  • Develop and maintain an ecosystem of partners, alliances and a commercial network to foster the development of new customer opportunities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies
  • Identify new business opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sector
  • Present the company’s services convincingly and professionally, in line with best practice
  • Establish and maintain strong, value-added customer relationships (existing and future customers).
  • Identify specific customer issues and needs, propose appropriate solutions with the support of senior management
  • Participate in the preparation of customer proposals
  • Manage the contract and pricing negotiation process in collaboration with senior management
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of business opportunities until their conclusion, and document transactions in the CRM tool.
  • Respond to customer requests for information
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate customer needs and market requirements to the internal team
  • Participate in the development of the company’s strategic sales and marketing plan.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or operations management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development in a corporate environment
  • Experience in logistics or warehousing solutions
  • Proficiency in computer tools and customer relationship management software
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Results-oriented
  • Good knowledge of the logistics and warehousing sector
  • Sense of initiative, dynamism, rigor and positive attitude
  • Ability to seize opportunities and act proactively in business development
  • In-depth understanding of customer needs and ability to implement appropriate strategies
  • Team spirit and motivation to achieve ambitious goals
  • Establishment and maintenance of a network of key contacts
  • Positive track record of sales achievement
  • Oral and written bilingualism essential (French and English)
  • Driving license and vehicle for travel
  • Valid passport.
