DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT
Our client is an Ottawa-based company which provides technology-related consulting services. The company is specialized in business transformation, project management, business analysis, change management and continuous improvement. Its teams of consultants use AGILE/Lean/Six Sigma principles to assist its public and private sector clients in implementing best practices in their day-to-day operations and to enhance their productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The company is seeking a new sales resource to help manage its rapid growth in Ontario. The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for developing new business opportunities and providing consulting services to support clients in implementing and delivering their technological projects. The candidate shall:

  • Participate in producing a strategic business development plan
  • Provide services to the federal, provincial, and municipal governments
  • Participate in responding to public and private calls for tenders
  • Identify new potential income sources for the company within the private sector
  • Introduce LEAN MANAGEMENT services in large companies
  • Collaborate and set up marketing tools for improved growth and an enhanced visibility in the corporate sector, in the Ottawa region
  • Participate in presenting all our client’s services face-to-face and virtually

 REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business area (business, administration, sales, marketing, or operations)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • 3 years of experience in the consulting and technology sectors
  • Extensive knowledge of LEAN Management and of the AGILE approach
  • Demonstrated ability to canvas new clients
  • Strategic development skills
  • Strong relational approach and business networking skills
  • Entrepreneur profile with strong business skills (cost vs. profitability)
  • Highly skilled in drafting service offers, bids, calls for tender
  • Strong communicator with good listening skills (requirements capture)
  • Bilingual
  • Professional attitude and approach
  • Autonomous and thorough sense of organization
